Connecticut defeats Rhode Island 37-6

Connecticut defeated Rhode Island 37-6 in the 13th Governors' Cup football game Saturday at Southington High.

Connecticut has won nine straight meetings and holds a 10-3 edge in the series.

Schedules by division

Last week, the CIAC released football schedules for 2011. Now, they've released schedules by divisions. There's several changes to the divisions this year, most notably Ansonia, the Class S runner-up last season, and Montville, a Class S semifinalist, moving up to Class M.
