Sean Patrick Bowley's Audibles: Your guide to key Connecticut high school football games

For nine years I wrote a weekly high school football guide by the Connecticut Post. It was started way before my time and included notable authors as Lou Pintek, Sean Barker (who's now the big sports boss here at New Haven Register and, by extension, GameTimeCT.com), Josh Egerman and David Agostino.

With Hearst revamping their guide format somewhat since my departure, I'm taking my distinct way of doing it, broadening its scope and tweaking its nomenclature for my new digs here at GameTimeCt.com.

Ned Griffen of The Day suggested I call it 'Audibles,' so here we are.

But what to do? The whole state now?

Eh... as much as I'd love a guide for the whole state, it might be too unwieldy and time consuming.

So we'll just do all of the games from the SCC, FCIAC, NVL and SWC, and then add select games from around the state.

Anyway, people have been asking me constantly to get this up, so here we go:

All game times as of Wednesday morning. For complete, updated CIAC Schedule click here.

Not sure North Haven and Hillhouse are ready to give up D2 crowns yet. Shouldn't Guilford and Foran beat somebody first?
