North Haven blocked a Hillhouse field goal attempt with five seconds remaining as the Indians held on to a 20-19 SCC interdivision victory at Bowen Field over the No. 4 Academics.

Jalon White scored the winning touchdown on a 15-yard run with 1:44 left.

Hillhouse took over at their own 38-yard line and drove to the 5 on nine plays, including a 21-yard run from Je'Vaughn Moore on 4th-and-10, before the field goal was blocked.

White also threw a 16-yard touchdown pass to Joe Burr to cut the Academics lead to 19-13.
Hillhouse (0-1) led 13-0 at halftime.

White finished with 110 yards on 24 carries. Teammate Joe Schwab rushed 30 times for 144 yards and one score.

Andre Anderson gained 121 yards on just five carries and scored on touchdown runs of 80 and 36 yards in the first half. Moore connected with Mike Washington on a 57-yard TD pass.
