Senior running back Zane Marks rushed 14 times for 204 yards and three touchdowns to lead Hyde to a Pequot Conference victory at Bowen Field in New Haven.

Hyde (4-1) has won four straight games since losing its season opener to crosstown rival Wilbur Cross. Avon falls to 3-2.

Marks also caught an 18-yard touchdown pass from junior quarterback Kendell Groom in the third quarter.
