Seymour 36, Crosby 19

Senior running back Mike Osiecki ran 32 times for 335 yards and four touchdowns as No. 6 Seymour defeated Crosby in a battle of unbeatens in a Naugatuck Valley League Brass Division contest at Waterbury.

Osiecki scored three times in the second half as Seymour (5-0) rallied after trailing 12-9 at halftime.

Crosby's only touchdown in the second half came on a 95-yard kickoff return by Dion O'Joe that gave the Bulldogs (4-1) a 19-16 lead with 2:55 left in the third quarter.

There are several good football athletes in the Branford, Guilford and Madison area. Suggest you do a sectional story on one/two players per team as an interest story.
Your sport's department is the only highlight of the NH Register. When I read your paper I think it should be named "The Milford" Review". Maybe we should subscribe to the Hartford Courant and use the internet for updates on SCC sports. Oh where Oh where has the Register gone????????
