Bunnell edges Weston

Chris Rosario returned an interception 82 yards for a touchdown in the fourth quarter to lift the Bunnell football team to a 30-25 South-West Conference victory over host Weston.

Rosario also caught a 66-yard touchdown pass from Chris Sloat for the Bulldogs (3-0), who are ranked second in the Register Top 10 Poll.

Sloat also threw an 18-yard touchdown pass to Tyler Navarro and Oliver Aurelia scored on a 2-yard run for Bunnell, which trailed 12-0 after the first quarter.

Sloat completed 11 of 22 passes for 204 yards with two touchdowns and an interception.

Mark Harrison caught five passes for 90 yards, Navarro caught three for 35 yards and Rosario made three catches for 79 yards.

Aurelia finished with 68 yards on nine carries while Sloat rushed nine times for 73 yards.
