Military Bowl Youth Clinic

Youth Experience Clinic Planned for Military Bowl/Hall of Fame Classic

FROM THE CHSCA SITE

We are excited to announce that this year on June 29, prior to the 2013 Connecticut High School All-Star Football game, the Connecticut High School coaches Association will run our Youth Experience Fundamentals Football Clinic. The clinic is open to all youth players from the ages of eight years to 14 years old.

Our Youth Experience Clinic will feature 10 separate fundamental skills stations that each player will rotate through by age group. Players will get an opportunity to learn new skills, drills and techniques taught by youth and high school football coaches.

Three of the stations will be competition stations with prizes awarded to top performers. Fundamental skills and drills will be taught for quarterbacks, offensive linemen, receivers, running backs, defensive linemen, line backers and defensive backs.

Competition stations will include:
• Passing for accuracy and distance;
• 30-yard dash for time;
• Agility shuttle for time.

The first 200 participants to register will be enrolled in the Youth Football Clinic. Please register early as this clinic will sell out.

All youth players who attend our Youth Experience Clinic will be admitted to the All-Star game free of charge when accompanied by a parent or guardian. Parents or guardians of the players attending the youth clinic will be required to purchase at least one ticket to the football game. All youth players who attend the high school game will be eligible for a drawing to be held for 12 NFL authentic footballs.
