Coach Ted Boynton, “It will be a rebuilding process as we will go back to basics. We will work on the fundamentals of the game every day. We will reinforce the foundation which is in place, set short term goals and must learn to win in practice on a daily basis. Practices will be organized, the staff will be prepared and energized, and our student-athletes will work hard each day. I will challenge my players, my staff and myself every day. I would like to thank everyone involved in the hiring process as well as administration for this great opportunity. I am very excited to continue coaching football as the head coach here at Notre Dame. I love the students and the school and look forward to coaching here for years to come.”
