Jalon White scored on a 6-yard run with 4 minutes, 50 seconds left for the North Haven football team in a 20-17 upset over Notre Dame-West Haven Friday in a Southern Connecticut Conference interdivision game at North Haven.

Amity 14, Fairfield Prep 13: Kyle Kalanta rushed for 147 yards on 23 carries and a touchdown to lead the Spartans to their SCC Division I West win.

Derby 36, Wolcott 7: Quarterback Ray Kreiger completed 18-of-28 passes for 289 yards, including four touchdown passes and rushed for a 1-yard touchdown to lead the Red Raiders to their Naugatuck Valley League Brass Division win in Wolcott.

Hillhouse 20, Guilford 13: Andre Anderson rushed for 97 yards on 11 carries, including an 8-yard touchdown run, and added seven tackles as a linebacker to lead the host Academics to their SCC Division II West win.
Taurese Washington had a 17-yard touchdown run and had nine tackles at linebacker for the Academics (4-2). Matt Hoey ran for 128 yards on 24 carries, including touchdown runs of 1 and 34 yards, to lead the Indians (3-3). He also had two receptions for 33 yards.

Hopkins 48, Kingswood Oxford 8: Bryan Turkel rushed for 114 yards on 14 carries, including touchdown runs of 29 and 17 yards, to lead the Hilltoppers to their prep school win at East Haven High.

Branford 20, Hamden 12: Kyle Nolan ran for 101 yards including a 76-yard touchdown and was 15 of 26 passing for 185 yards in the host Hornets’ SCC interdivision victory.
Harrison Goodkind ran for 87 yards and two touchdowns and also caught six passes for Branford (1-5).

Xavier 14, Shelton 7: Mike Mastrioanni’s 33-yard touchdown run with 3:57 left in the game gave Xavier the SCC Division I West win at Middletown.

Lyman Hall 55, Law 27: Zac Falconeri rushed for 171 yards and five touchdowns on 15 carries in the Trojans SCC Division II West win at Wallingford.

Maloney 46, Weaver 6: Karim St. Luce and Riley Lefebvre each scored three touchdowns to lead Maloney over Weaver at Meriden.

Foran 35, Sheehan 13: Matt Aspinwall ran for 70 yards and passed for 180 yards and three touchdowns for Foran in a SCC Division II win at Wallingford.
