Montrell Dobbs rushed 32 times for 305 yards and three touchdowns to lead Ansonia past Wolcott in a battle of unbeaten teams in this Naugatuck Valley League Brass Division contest.

The game marked the 1,000th in Ansonia (5-0) history. The Chargers led 39-6 at halftime before Wolcott (4-1) embarked on a comeback attempt in the second half.

Raeshaun Finney caught a 57-yard touchdown pass from Elliot Chudwick, who added a 4-yard touchdown run. Arkeel Newsome scored on an 85-yard kickoff return for Ansonia.
