Quarterback Ray Krieger completed 10 of 15 passes for 222 yards and two touchdowns, added a rushing touchdown and intercepted two passes for the Derby/O’Brien Tech football team in a 24-8 win over Watertown Saturday in a Naugatuck Valley League Brass Division game played in Shelton.
Jacob Tomczak had three catches for 156 yards, two of those for touchdowns, and added another score on a 30-yard run for the Red Raiders (2-3, 2-0). Rashawn Hendricks rushed 17 times for 66 yards. Zach Salazar led Derby with 13 tackles.
Matt Quatrano had a 12-yard touchdown run for Watertown (3-2, 1-1).

Hyde 26, Lewis Mills 0: Gary Ormond rushed 11 times for 76 yards and two touchdowns to lead the host Howling Wolves to their Pequot Conference Sassacus Division win at New Haven.
Isaac Bradley carried 12 times for 178 yards and Patrick Davidson gained 109 yards on 16 carries, including a 3-yard touchdown run, in a winning effort.
Shaquille Eddy caught a touchdown pass and also had an interception, Robert Fairweather had seven tackles, including two sacks, and Marquis Leigh had eight tackles and an interception for Hyde (5-0).

Hopkins 34, Westminster 14: Jordan Sebastian rushed 14 times for 112 yards and two touchdowns and also caught a touchdown pass from Jack Pantalena in the visiting Hilltoppers’ prep school win at Simsbury.
Bryan Turkel carried 27 times for 176 yards and one touchdown and Jashon DeSenna gained 98 yards on 12 carries, including a 2-yard touchdown run, for Hopkins (4-1).
