Best of the 2000s
Ten years ago, Bob Barton, a retired Register copy editor, listed his Top 10 (plus an extra) games of the 1900s.
Included in the list were:
At No. 9: Hillhouse 28, New Britain 20 (Nov. 5, 1960): Future NFL Hall of Famer Floyd Little ran for 153 yards and scored all four of the Academics' touchdowns in this victory.
At No. 1: Derby 28, Seymour 18 (Sept. 27, 1969): Derby came in unbeaten in 24 games and trailed 18-0 late in the third quarter before rallying for victory.
Now that 10 years have passed in this century, what are your choices for best games of the 2000s (so far)?
