Hillhouse earns big win
The Academics knock off New Jersey power Hoboken.
Free safety Jeremy Moore led a stifling Hillhouse defense, making 12 tackles and four interceptions, and opened the second half with an 80-yard kickoff return for a touchdown to lead the Academics to a 24-6 football victory over host Hoboken, N.J., which is ranked No. 15 in New Jersey.
It was the opener for both teams.
Hillhouse quarterback Bernard Risco led the Academics on offense with 105 yards rushing, including touchdown runs of 7 and 3 yards.
The Academics finished with over 280 yards of total offense.
