Watching Thomas: Week 4

In a 48-0 victory over Wolcott last week, Ansonia's Alex Thomas rushed for 257 yards, four touchdowns and totaled 24 points.

For his career, Thomas has rushed for 5,784 yards, which is still third best in state history.

Thomas now has 84 touchdowns, which is fourth best in history.

Thomas has 567 career points and puts him second all-time in state history.

Thomas will likely add to those totals tonight when the top-ranked Chargers host unbeaten Holy Cross-Waterbury (4-0). Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.

DO PEOPLE REALIZE THAT ALEX GETS 2,3,4 AND EVEN 500 YARDS A GAME, AND MOST OF THE TIME ITS ALL DONE IN THE FIRST HALF!!??? JUST IMAGINE WHAT NUMBERS HE WOULD PUT UP IF HE PLAYED ALL 4 QUARTERS EVERY GAME? HIS NUMBERS ARE CLOSE TO THE TOP ON MAX PREPS, THE COUNTRYS BEST! BUT OTHER STATES DONT HAVE OUR EMBARASSING 50 POINT RULE. AND IM SURE THE TOP PLAYERS AROUND THE COUNTRY PLAY MORE THAN 2 QUARTERS. SO, JUST IMAGINE!!!
