CIAC responds to questions concerning Naugatuck situation
Naugatuck football coach Rob Plasky resigned Friday, a day after being
suspended for his alleged involvement in the recruitment of two players
who wished to transfer to the school from Sacred Heart High.
The Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference, the governing body of high school sports in this state, said it is aware of the situation in response to an email from the Register:
“The CIAC has been notified by Naugatuck High School of a potential recruiting violation. The school will be submitting a report to the CIAC Board of Control. When the report is received it will be reviewed and acted upon. Prior to the report being received it would be inappropriate to comment on what action could be taken.”
