Hopkins 21, Hamden Hall 14 (OT)
Keith Smith caught a 10-yard touchdown pass from Greg Volpe in overtime to lift Hopkins to this prep school win over rival Hamden Hall.
The win marked No. 200 for Hopkins coach Tom Parr. The Hilltoppers finish the season at 4-3. Volpe also made two interceptions on defense.
Sophomore Jim Martino rushed 16 times for 73 yards and two touchdowns for Hopkins. The game was scoreless at halftime.
T.J. Linta scored on a 1-yard run and threw a 27-yard touchdown pass to Mike Whalen for the Hornets (3-4). Curtis Antrum rushed 18 times for 158 yards for Hamden Hall.
